GREAT GRUB FROM SENJA

My first months this far north I couldn't wrap my head around what local people ate. It took some getting used to, even for a Swede, but now I'm the first in our family to suggest smoked cod or fish patties for dinner.

This book would've gotten me into the game a lot sooner. A well edited collection of the basic flavours and dishes of the region: lapskaus, seikaker, mølja. By now I've sampled most of the dishes, but this gem remains on my wish list.
